How many brewers use fake hops?

    The wild thing (and important for OP to know so that he can adjust his language now so as to avoid confusion) is that we are likely very near to having 'synthetic hop extract' on the market soon. Probably made by a yeast like the one in this beer

    At that point it will be meaningful to identify beers made with 'fake hops' or 'synthetic' hop extract for all those folks who wish to avoid consuming GMO products. Shame to have that discussion diluted because some people don't want to actually understand what is in their consumables and instead latch onto label literature and paranoia to spread misinformation

    So are hydrogen cyanide and botulism toxin. Good natural stuff.

    Frankly I don't care what form of hops the brewer uses if I like the results.
