Drinking is mandatory during brewing for me, although I never get drunk, just 1 or 2

I brew with a partner who is as serious about it as I am. We brew 11 gallon batches...I've done it solo before, and everything went smoothly, but it's nice to have someone to help with the heavy lifting.

We used to do a 5 gallon experimental batch on the side at the same time as the 11 gallon batch. That was chaotic, what with trying to remember when to do all the different hop additions, and finally resulted in an immersion chiller hose blowing off (due to a kink and pressure build-up), shooting water straight at the laptop I'm typing on now, drenching the thing. Not sure how it still works, but nothing seemed to happen to it. But now, we brew one batch at a time, and no computers allowed in the brewing area anymore.

I've been brewing two batches at a time recently simultaneous mashes (BIAB) and then one goes outside on the burner and another smaller batch on the stovetop. So far so good (knock on wood)

Me and my soul, just the two of us. We never argue.

I brew solo, except for the one batch my sister wanted to help with while she was in town visiting, so we did a chocolate milk stout. She said it was really boring, but the beer turned out well.

I brew with my dog and my wife. It's a family affair. When we have kids I'll brew with them also.

    Do imaginary friends count?

If not, me and the dogs.
