I can drink any style, and regularly switch up on purpose, to avoid palate burn out, but once I choose a style for the day or night, I stick with it.

Saisons, IPAs/DIPAs, Stouts/Porters/ImpStouts/ImpPorters, Wild Ales, Lambics (Krieks and Gueuze's), Barleywines. I like to throw Berlinerweissens, Goses, Triples and Hoppy Pilsners in the mix.

I don't care much for quads, dubbles, marzens, rye, red ales, ambers, bitters, heffes, bocks and dopplebocks, american strongs, cream ales, oyster stouts, brown ales, belgian blondes, or most regular pales (obvious exceptions here). I like Scotch Ales, but don't drink them too frequently, just because there's not enough variety or interesting ones around (the clown shoes BA one was amazing though, and Dirty Bastard is one of my favorites)

I think new beer drinkers ten years from now will laugh at this IPA fade.

    My fave styles

    Pales
    IPAs
    Stouts
    Farmhouse Ales
Browns (although they are getting harder to find)

I try to drink beers that are in season so in the winter on a regular basis I tend to drink stouts, porters and celebration or Xmas ales. This is not a hard and fast rule. I also have some pale ales and IPA's in the 'fridge so 3-5 styles at any given time.

Last night I had a scotch ale, an IPA, an Irish red ale, and a Czech style pils.

I tend to drink stouts and IPAs most often, but I still regularly drink a variety of styles. I'm not sure what the exact number would be.

As a beer retailer, it's hard for me to have "regular" styles, because I try to try everything that comes in the door. But when I have a wide variety of new items (style-wise), this is where I'll probably land:
    IPA
    Pale
    Imperial Stout/Porter
    Double IPA
    Saison
    Sour

And this is what I probably won't bother with: Amber/Red, ESB, Black IPA/CDA, Dubbels, American-Style Hefeweizens. And "macro" anything.
