I'll drink a good hoppy pale, too, if it's the best thing on tap, but I don't buy a lot of them to have in the fridge.

Vienna lagers, multiple varieties of stout and porter, hefeweizens, witbiers, marzens, bocks, doppelbocks, weizenbocks, eisbocks, quads / dubbels / BSDAs, goses, saisons, bieres de garde, kolsches, pale lagers, Irish red ales, wee heavies...that's about it for the heavy hitting categories.

Typically every day I am either drinking an imperial stout of some description or an imperial IPA.

    In no particular order:
    IPAs (including DIPAs and BIPAs)
    Pale Ales
Sessions (if you count it as a style)
    Saisons
    Porters/Stouts
    Sours

I would really like to get back to Belgian tripels and quads, but they're just so darn cost inhibitive.

    Saisons/Belgian (strong) pales

That's pretty much it. I do have other styles occasionally, but those are the ones I drink the most of. I'd group those together for the most part so it's only like 3 styles usually.

The only styles I am not real keen on are Rauchbiers and most Euro Pale Lagers. Other than that I tend to have most styles on a rotating basis, particularly since I am trying to have at least a single of every beer I can get my hands on - as my budget allows.

You wanna diss the Phifer but you still don't know the half...

I drink pretty much all styles when in the mood and I love trying new things so it's not unusual for me to have all sorts of styles in my fridge at any given time. But with that being said I have been in this game for some time now and have tried so many beers that for now I am back to pretty much drinking my regulars well, regularly, so for the topic of this thread:

    Pilsners
    Various Lager styles (mostly Helles)
IPAs/DIPAs (unless we are splitting hairs, then DIPAs would be another category)
    Stouts/Porters

As so many so-called styles are really sub styles , basically pale ale (ie what's labelled Pale Ale, bitter or IPA), Mild Ale and Porter (which includes Stout) with the occasional barley wine on special occasions. That's because almost all my beer drinking is in the pub and there's no point in getting to the pub and drinking the sort of beer I can buy cheaper in a supermarket.

Stouts/Porters are my go to. IPAs have officially grown on me (doubles especially) so those mainly but I still like to mix in the other styles as I go along just for variety. I'm trying to get a bit more into reds too.

A large portion of the time it's stouts (imperial, BA, whatever) but occasionally a Barleywine or old ale will find its way into the 'ol snifter.

I usually drink IPAs, DIPAs, stouts, barleywines, and ambers. Lately I've gotten into pilsner. So 6. If you count the different variations of those (Russian Imperial/American Imperial stouts, English/American barleywines, etc.) it's probably more like 10 or 12.
