Brewed a 5 gallon wheat extract yesterday. I've fiddled with adding some things before, but wanted to add a cucumber and lime for the sunshine spring back porch sipping.

How much Cuke and Lime to add and when? I was thinking a pound or two of each about a week left in the primary (not doing secondary).

    Thanks.

Brave dude. I have no experience doing something like that but what I’ve heard is to make a tincture and add it at kegging or bottling in small amounts to taste.

Thanks for the reply. I've added coconut, lemons, etc straight to the fermentor (cleaned and sanitized of course) with some success. Just doing some additions and seeing what happens. Totally get this might not be best practice.

If you kegged you could bag them up like a keg hop. Try the tincture method, you might get better results.
