How much do you drink a day?

More than I should

 

99 % of the time I start at about 6pm with a nice cheese plate, nuts, maybe some shrimp or a crabcake and a Belgian beer, my own or commercial. It could be a corked 750 or 2 smaller ones. I'll have a cooking/travel show on, Bourdain, or the old cooking in France series. When the 3rd beer is cracked dinner is ready, A glass of red wine will sometimes be sitting right next to beer 3 at the table. Later its beer 4, dessert, then beer 5.

 

Weekdays? Generally I don't drink.

Friday and Saturday evenings I tend to have 3-5 beers.

 

Bout a six pack a week, depending on what I've got at the house and how rough the work week has been.

 

Monday thru Thursday = 0, unless it's a holiday like July 4, Labor Day, T-day, etc.
Friday thru Sunday = make up for no beer during the week. Usually 12 or so.

 

Hope that's sarcasm, some beer fanatics drink very responsibly.

I've been trying to drop some pounds, having around 5-7/week now.

 

Mon - Thur: Generally 1 beer a night, not every night (depends on the week, so we'll say 2 nights on average). If a bowling night, I'll have two at bowling (every other thursday). Some nights my wife and I will each have a different beer and share, some nights we split a bomber, and last night we split a 12 oz bottle of Rise to the Top Cream Ale.

Fri / Sat: 1-3, depending on where we are or what we're doing. My untappd will usually suggest I've had more, but there is usually some sharing going on.

Sun: Generally none. Not for any specific reason, but dinner is usually at the mother in law's house and we just don't usually drink over there.

 

Usually one on nights where I have to work the next morning. Two or three on days off, and who knows on weekends off. I don't drink every day, but how ever much I do drink, it is NEVER ENOUGH to keep up with the beers I seem to accumulate in my "cellar".

 

Who is counting?

 

Daily... any where from 3 beers to maybe 15?

 

So hard to not drink more than one on a weeknight! I'm always dying to try the next amazing brew I picked up on my last shopping spree, but I usually try to limit it, particularly on the 10 percenters that I've been enjoying lately.

 

If I'm being honest and if you factor in the high alcohol brews and more qualtity on the weekends it probably averages out to about 3 x 7% abv per day.

 

Not enough...

 

Weekdays: 1.5*-3

Weekends: 6?**

*I split beers with my wife often.

I'm really trying to cut back. Last year it was 1-2 a night and 6 plus friday and saturday. Since New Years I have only had 3 beers. Once Feb starts I'm going to not drink during the week and only have 2 or 3 Friday and Saturday nights. Too many calories, too much money spent on beer in the past year.

 

Monday through Thursday: Maybe 1, 2 total beers over the four days. Friday or Saturday, 3-6 each. Although if I know I'm going to have more Saturday I'll have 1 on Friday, and vice versa.

Sunday depends on the season. Early NFL season when my team hasn't stunk yet, I'll have a few. Once they stink, none really. And when Game of Thrones is on, I split a bomber with a friend during the show.

 

During the week, probly 1-2 beers a day (hey, I love a good Craft beer to help unwind & its Good for ya) - sometimes None. But more often than not atleast 1.
Weekends, depends ..but maybe one or 2 more throughout the day. Wheeeww - - call me an Alky.
Its also possible I don't have a "Beer Budget"..I don't give a rats ass. I wanna try/have somethin', I do.

 

2-3 beers a couple nights a week. Perhaps a couple more during the random session I have every couple weeks.

 

One 12oz beer a day. Currently low ABV type beers such as lagers and extra pale ales.

 

Im on prescription meds so I have been cutting back to a few days a week.
