How much do you drink in one sitting?

He means he drinks 12 to 16oz a day. In other words, one beer, either a 12oz beer or a pint. Sometimes two beers. lol

Mine is 2-4 a night without rules for abv.

 

No more than three beers a day.

 

Weekdays: around three 12 or 16 ounce brews two or three times a week.

Weekends: Many many beers.

 

3 is my absolute maximum, but during the work week I usually have one and sometimes two beers in the evening. If I have any more it negatively effects my sleep

Vacations are a different story.

 

Start at night, like after work on Friday - 2, MAYBE 3 if I'm really in a groove. Weekend day where I have possibly late morning, certainly afternoon and taper off towards evening - 4 - 6 depending on whether I am having bombers or not, how high the ABV is, etc., Probably backed off a bunch as well since I don't typically drink throughout the week anymore.

 

I don't drink every day but when I do I'm usually good for four beers, most of 'em on the lower end of the 4%-7% abv range, over the course of an evening (i.e., five or six hours). Occasionally more, rarely less.

 

I usually only drink one beer. If I am at a tasting then it becomes 3 to 4. I also drink this much when I get together with one of my son's for a special occasion.

 

Usually 2 Bombers and on those days perhaps Some Bourbon. Not every day, but once every couple of weeks.

 

As I am trying to lose weight, I really really try to not drink Mon-Thurs..sometimes I don't make it, and if I don't it might be one. When the weekend comes I am also trying to cut back on that but if not going out will usually be in the 2-3 bottles Fri-Sun.

If I am headed for a night out, depending on what beers are offered at the bar..I will start with 2-3 crafts, before I don't care and just switch over to well drinks and cheap beers to save money

I have lots of reasons to not drink more than that, covering health, relationships, and money. Like almost everyone else I do drink more when at a party/reunion, but just around 3-4 max a night.

I don't have a lot of resistance to alcohol anyway, I get dizzy fairly fast.

 

I'll usually just have one beer at a time.

Sometimes I'll have two beers in a row (12-16 ounce beers that is... or one whole 22-25 ounce bottle/can of something, though that'd be in the 6% ABV range at most, any higher and I'd probably want to split it with someone), especially if I'm having them with a meal or I'm trying a new beer I just picked up from the store and just feel like a second one right after the first. The most I've ever had in one sitting was three, which it turns out was a bit too much for me at the time (it was back when I first started drinking, so I may have a slightly higher tolerance now... but at the time three 5.7 ABV drinks in a row without any food to slow things down made me dizzy and sleepy and I ended up going to bed at 10 PM, which is something like 2 or 3 hours earlier than when I'd even start to consider going to bed normally.)

There've been times when I had 4 beers in one day, but they weren't all in one sitting (something like one with lunch, two with dinner, one at the end of the night), so not quite fitting this thread's question.

 

Usually 7 or 8 beers per session, 3 or 4 nights a week.

 

1-2 per sitting. It can take me up to an hour to drink one for me, depending on the type. Its all about the experience, and it took my wife the longest time to understand it wasn't about getting drunk, it was about the taste. Hell, it took me the longest time to realize that.

I usually drink twice a week, and 1-2 on the nights I do. Depends on the size of the bottle and the ABV. I'm perfectly content nursing a glass of an 11% porter for an hour and calling it an evening.

Of course there are the rare summer BBQs where Ill down 6+ yuenglings or similar beer. Or my trip to Germany where I drank every beer in sight as much as I could.
