How much do you drink?

one a day, sometimes two. This is consistent across weekdays and weekends. Sometimes I will do a little more on weekends, but I mean my 1-2 becomes 2-4 on saturday. Sometimes none! If I'm busy with family sometimes I won't drink at all on weekends. That's awful.

 

I can down a case in a week. Sometimes i do. Sometimes i dont. I chose 19+ because so far this week, its thursday and im at 11 beers already in the past 4 days. There's STILL tonight, then a Halloween party, so thats that. But i average 1-3 per day.

 

I chose 4-6.

I rarely drink anything at all M-TH. Then Friday night I'll have a couple...sometimes a couple more on Saturday/Saturday night...then usually a couple more on Sunday during football season...

I don't understand how you can drink 19+. That's called being an alcoholic.

If I'm reviewing, about 6-8.

If I'm just drinking to get drunk, maybe 15 a sitting. My liver tried getting emancipated but I have a good lawyer so

 

nah alcoholic is if it causes you to miss work or spend your rent money on beer, or if youre usc's football coach and miss practice

 

14 beers a day is just crazy to me. Your liver still works?

 

I put 13-18. That's probably on a really good week or a really bad week. 2 a day puts me at 14, so probably about right. Over 19 does happen though and I don't feel badly about it. Except some mornings.

Probably about two a day on average for me…obviously can be more or less but I rarely drink to get drunk. It's more of a beer with dinner and then possibly another after.

 

Depends. I can't say 1 a day because there are multiple days a week for whatever reason I have have none.
Usually 1-2 in a sitting. But if tailgating or apres ski that number increases, sometimes significantly.

 

I chose 4-6. It's more of a "some days" thing with me. Some days, like today, when I have nothing to do but be a homebody I'll have two or three, maybe even four. Some days after work I might have one or none. I might not have any for the whole week. If I don't feel like one today, it'll be there tomorrow if I do.

 

Normal week:
Monday-Thursday: 0-2 max, usually no more than 3 total over that time.
Friday-Saturday: 2-5 max, some nights less, some nights more.
Sunday: The opposite of what happens Friday-Saturday in total. So if I haven't had many, I'll have a few. If I've had a lot, maybe 1.

I don't think 19 beers in a week is really all that much too be honest, 2.7 beers a day? not exactly hardcore. I think quite a few BA's would be in the 50+ with ease.... well honest ones at least.

 

It's hard to say exactly how many a week. Maybe a better question would be "how much alcohol do you consume via beer per week"?

For instance, I had one beer last night. It was a 500ml bottle of an 11.9% beer. Total alcohol delivered: about 1.42 ounces. So, I had about two and a half beers if we use the standard of "one ounce of alcohol per serving", which is about what you'd get from two and a half 5% ABV beers in a serving size of 12 ounces.

For example, I got smashed nearly unconscious one day on two beers. Two bombers. Firestone Parabola and Abacus. 6.16 ounces of alcohol., or the equivalent of drinking nearly a 12 pack of longneck Buds. In two hours. Yikes.

Realism! To say drinking 19+ beers a week is an alcoholic, is just nonsense...There are beers that have 2%abv and beers with up to 20+%abv. So if you have a few "wine-coolers" a day, you are an alcoholic??? Judge your beer, not others!
