How much do you like big beers?

Love huge BA Stouts and BW especially....but they hit me pretty hard so I limit myself when I am enjoying them

 

I used to like them a lot when I was just getting into craft beer. Now it's a toss up. I think the booziness and randomness of most have started to grind on me. It takes a truly special big beer to get my attention. Tossing something into a barrel just isn't as novel as it used to be either.

 

We're not alone...there's a few "Modest" booze hounds out there that deny what they are . I prefer my beers to be Strong, maybe that's why BSDAs got me liking beer again.

 

27 out my my highest 50 were positive so about 50% I like more than the next guy or gal.
But then again, I think that percentage is about the same for all my ratings regardless of ABV, so maybe I'm just an easy grader(or I just really like beer).

 

My top 50 are 9.8% and up. 27 positive and 10 break even. Guess I like big beers.

 

So it sounds like you are asking for just the first page of ratings when sorting by high ABV? If that's right, I have 33 +rDevs, 3 zeros (neutral), and 14 -rDevs. I guess that means I like 'em strong.

On the other hand, when I sort by low ABV (and take out the first 8 beers for which ABV is not known, so out of 42 beers), I have 21 +rDevs, 8 zeros (neutral), and 13 -rDevs. So I guess that means I like 'em weak too.

 

31 positive, 14 negative, and 5 neutral. What does this mean?!?!?!?

 

31 are positive or neutral in my top 50 with the lowest of the bunch being 10.5%

8 of my top 10 are positive
