I was talking to a friend about this topic today, and it made me consider my expenses. It also made me curious how much other people are spending on beer. Personally I try not to go over $50 a month, but I find myself spending 50-70 per month instead...
Id rather not say. I think its the same as when I do my annual fireworks display; More than I should but less than I want.
It honestly depends on how much I work. I'll spend more this month because I got my tax return and I refinanced my car loan
Really depends whats out at the time. I spent over $100 last month between Hopslam and Nugget Nectar alone. Some months I don't even go over $20, so it really just depends. If I averaged it out I'd guess it would be around $30-50 a month.
I spend the amount written on the shelf/sign, plus NJ state sales tax. Unless there's a club card deal-sale price. Then I pay that. If I pay by credit, I always pay the bill before the due date, so never any interest charges.
ALOT lately, I was talking to a buddy of mine about this saying that I think I spend too much on beer, he says no way that he spends a 100 bucks every weekend going to the bar. so I guess im not that bad, but last month I probably spent around 150-200, this month with kbs coming out it'll probably be the same, lol.
I spend what I feel will hold me over. If I see KBS, I'll spend a bunch. If I see Furious, I might buy two 4's, mostly because common crafts are readily available, though some of my favs aren't. I did not spend any money in February and I have not yet this month. KBS is coming so I've got to fatten my wallet a bit. I've been holding myself over with my cellar.
I've been cutting back, only because I don't drink a 6-pack every night like I did a year ago. When i do buy beer, I usually spend $30-50 for a random mixed six pack that usually includes a bomber or two. This used to be a weekly thing, now it is more like every two weeks.
Buying beer .. trading (shipping cost's.. ect..) way to much !.. However the end justifies the means.
I always get a kick out this weekly question. its like folks are asking for help. IF you are spending more than you can afford, guess what its too much. Common sense really.
I do a beer run every Friday or Saturday and I'll spend much more in the Fall and Winter than I will in the Spring and Summer. I've probably been averaging around $30 a week the last two months.
