How much does Duvel usually cost?

    It's been awhile since I bought it in a 4-pack, but last time I did, I seem to remember it being around $12-14. Almost $20 seems excessive to me, but you never know.

    Probably a lot cheaper to buy it in 750 mL format.

    $10.99 for a 4-pack of 330s. A 750 at the same store costs $10.99.

    Yeah, that's definitely NOT cheaper. But I'd be interested to see what a 750 cost at the store that's selling the 4-pk for $18.50.

    I think it's $13.99/4-pack at my local Total Wine in FL. I think it's a great beer, but not worth that price to buy in the store. I will buy it sometimes if I'm out at a bar though and already overpaying per bottle. Duvel is one of my favorite Belgians. When I was on my honeymoon in Curacao a little over a year ago, everywhere we went they mostly just had Amstel. I found a bar in downtown Willemstaad that had Duvel and I took advantage.

    I pay 2.29 euros per 33 cl bottle, or about 2 euros per bottle when on sale.

    I'd bet it came out to nearly the same price per ounce at his store.

    A 750 is only 2.27x the size of a 330. If he's getting 4 330s for $18.50, that's roughly $4.62 per 330.

    $4.62 x 2.27 = $10.49 (expected cost of 750ml bottle, at same price per ounce of 330ml bottle).

    Well, you can always wait until Costco has 3x750 again for $21 and find out... I feel like I missed out because I only got one pack and not a case... YMMV
