Went to my local super market yesterday and they must have just gotten a new shipment in cause there was a stack of Old Viscosity for $6.99 and some other West Coast beers I hadn't seen around here...Lucky 13 $5.50 and RuinTen $8.99.

I'd never tried the OV before last night and it was pretty darn tasty. At $6.99 it seems like a deal? They also had bottles of Bruery Saison Rue for $11.99

That's definitely reasonable. I think the ones I've seen in Jersey were $7.99.

That's about average price. And I agree that it's a great beer for that price.

Now kick it up a notch and try Older Viscosity- half as much at twice the price! It's outstanding but the price keeps me from buying it too often.

Old Viscosity - good beer, reasonable price.
Older Viscosity - VERY tasty, understandably priced
Older Viscosity +1 year - ridiculously tasty, inline with BCBS, imo...

I did come across some of that the other day......I forget how much they wanted for it but yeah it was expensive.

Was this by chance at Wegman's in Nazareth? That's what i've paid for it there before and in PA it's hard to beat. Honestly, I feel like it's one of those beers with a great price/size/abv ratio.

Haha close. I used to live in Nazo actually...but no this was Wegman's in Downingtown.

Ah okay, yeah Shangy's also supplies that Wegman's I believe. Saison Rue is definitely worth it, too, if you're into bretty, funky saisons.
