By the bottle- if you saw it sitting on your neighborhood bottle shop, how much would you drop down on the sacred brew?

$25 if it's being sold in singles only. If its readily available then $7 would be a good price which would be $1 over rochfort 10

    for me? not that much.

not that I wouldn't drop a bit on a single bottle and what not, but I don't buy into the hype at all. not enough to offer what people have offered for it in the past.

Id pay about 8$ for a 12oz bottle. And that just to say that I tried it.

Thinking about this is funny. If I saw it in a bottle shop for 24.99 I would think long and hard about it. But if some one offered a $4$ trade at 25 I would laugh at it.

Since I have had it, $8. Before I had it, $20.

This is a hypothetical thread, I believe.

I'd drop $20, max. I have never had it, but I can't even bring myself to purchase The Bruery's Smoking Wood 750 ml at $23. $20 for a 12oz. is madness, but I'd buy it once at that price just to try it.

I cracked my first on my 50th b-day two years ago and it lives up to its hype. Glad I was able to score some more bottles and am anxious to crack another one...........

I traded close to $4$ for two of these, which was roughly $15 each.
I want to share them with my father later this coming fall, so it was worth that to me at the time.

If it wasn't for him, I would probably pay the same - for one, just to have tried it.

As hyped as it is. I wouldn't pay more than $15-$20 a bottle. Everybody has their own opinion on "best beer in the world."

Paid €12 for a bottle at Cambrinus in Bruges only a few days ago. Worth it to try it once.

Honestly $10 max. Never had it and I'd pay a few more dollars then Rochefort 10 to try it out.
