How much variation in temperature is too much?

So my "cellar", which is just the closet in my guest bedroom tends to vary in temperature daily to every other day about 3 or 4 degrees (between 60 and 56). I'm working on getting an actual "beer cellar" but this makeshift one has to do for now. So is this variation going to be a real cause for concern?

As is usually the case with these questions, you're fine.

That's a pretty nice range to get out of a closet. Mine would range from 65 to 70 and hit 75-80 in summer.

Dark + small fluctuations (less than 10F) + stays under 70F = acceptable cellaring conditions.

I blocked off the vents and jammed a towel under the door so no heat gets into that room. That'll last me for another few months. In the meantime I'm working on getting an actual cellar up and running before summer hits.
