I just brewed my first batch recently and look forward to brewing my next. I'm thinking of doing a batch (5 Gallon) every other weekend(unless it turns out that I suck at brewing). I feel like with two weeks of time in between I'll never have "too much" beer at any given time, but will always have plenty on hand.

How about the rest of you? Several times a week? Once a week? Once a month?

Once a month I would guess.

Hugely variable. Sometimes I'll brew 8+ batches in a month, other times its one or two per month. Most of my batches are 10 gallons, with the occasional 25 gallon batches thrown in to fill barrels.

I have a kegerator with a single tap tower and a picnic tap on the 2nd keg for when you open the door. I can usually get away with brewing every 4-6 weeks or so. Granted being a BA I have tons of commercial beers on hand in my basement beer fridge at all times as well as a beer cellar with about ~150 bombers doing their thing to crack when desired.

Both kegs did just kick last weekend during a party so I'm brewing an IPA this weekend and Hefe next weekend to have on tap in 4 weeks. 4 weeks without beer on tap is going to suck!!! It's not like me having a back up ready to go into a keg either but things just got super busy. Instead of brewing the next beer to keg I brewed an Impy Stout that I have in secondary on bourbon oak cubes to bottle for Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years celebrations.

Life's responsibilities limit my brewing to once every 4-6 weeks...I would be content with brewing a 10 gallon batch once every month.

Pretty steady 2 batches a month. They are usually only 2.5 gallons each though. Or 5 gallons split with a friend.

Nearly twice a month. Ends up being about 20 batches in a year.

I brew about once every other month (occasionally I get an extra brewday here and there); when I do brew, I brew double batches. I brew more on the brew day, and have less brew days, that way I have time for family and a life outside of brewing.

About every four weeks on average. But it varies, thanks to job, family, and other commitments. Sometimes I'll brew every week for a month, and sometimes I might go 8-10 weeks when I can't brew. If you're new to this, excited about, and on a roll, brew every damn day if you feel like it.

It varies quite a bit from month to month, but I've been pretty consistent at around 20 batches per year.

I'm pretty solid at one ten gallon batch per week plus any extras like big brew, Teach a friend, homebrew store demos. guessing it will work out to about 60 this year and was 59 last.

I've just started out, and am trying to do 1 a month. My difficulty at this point is that I don't drink enough at home, and have a hard time accumulating enough bottles for as frequently as I'd like to brew. that, and space (tiny DC apartment shared with gf) limits me to one batch at a time.

This is All-Grain Brewing BTW...I could see cranking out extract beers multiple times a month but...

When I was doing 5 gal batches I brewed every month. Now it varies. How often I have a party ect... When I have 2 empty kegs I brew.

I guess I'm a bit of a planner. And I hate to let my kegs run empty.
So I plan for 4 brew seasons per year, usually end up being Jan, Apr, Jul and Oct. I'll plan about 5 or 6 batches, of approx 5 gals each, over the course of 4 to 5 weeks. I'll take stock of inventory and order every thing I need in one big order for each season. In the end I usually hit 25 or 26 batches per year on avg. It's worked out well, my wife knows my schedule well ahead of time and we plan other things like vacation and golf and other projects around my brewery schedule.

For the first year and a half that I was brewing (mid 2010 through 2011) I brewed once every two months or so. After a slightly slow start to this year I've picked it up the last couple months and have my sixth an seventh batches of the year fermenting right now, with batch eight planned for next week.
