How often do you brew?

My average is 3 times a month

 

lately its been every weekend but not always. legally I can brew 200 gallons in a year. that is my goal this year.

 

In CT I can only brew 100 gallons legally since I have 2 adults in the household (my wife and I). It would be 50 gallons if it was only me in the house. Considering my wife doesn't drink my homebrew or beer in general (she enjoys wine and mix drinks) I guess I am making out in the deal with being legally allowed 100 gallons for 1 person with a loop hole... ha-ha.

 

I can't see how it could be enforced but just a honors system type law that is not really told to anyone but I looked it up on the AHA website. I don't think I'll be hitting the 100 gallons anyways but it could be close if you count my Apfelwein, Mead and Wine batches. You have to remember CT just lifted the Blue Laws for Sunday liquor/beer/wine sales a couple weeks ago and is the 2nd to last state to do so.

 

Congrats on the lifting of the blue laws, I went to college in CT and remember they were a major pain in the ass.

 

at school i was splitting five gallon batches with my 3 roommates, plus serving some homebrew at parties we threw, so we brewed once a week to keep up. now that i'm home for the year, i'll probably be brewing about once a month.

 

about 2-times a month depending on little league and other family activities.

I thought being a "head of household" gets you up to 200 gallons per year in CT. Not that I'm seriously at risk of getting close to that.

I don't know a single person who has ever been questioned by authorities on the amount of homebrew they make. That includes guys I know that have 1 barrel systems. The law is a joke.

 

Not often enough lately, work has been too intense. But I'm about to go on vacation and after that I'll probably brew something every other weekend. Since I do 10 or 15 gallon batches I hope to be back up to 60 or 80 gallons on hand by the start of the NFL season.

 

1-2 times a month...went a stretch brewing 5 straight weekends...but it'll never happen again now that our first baby is on the way...

 

3-4 Batches a month. I wish I could do it every day. I am about to have a baby... but yeah the way I see it I just am making a helper :-)

 

I will normally brew 7-10 times (10-15 gal. batches) per yea. If I had more refrigerator space and kegs I would kick that up to 10-15 times.

 

I'm around twice a month roughly... Might drop off a bit, as I'm about to get into kegging, so I'll be able to turn batches whenever I want mostly.

 

5 gallon batches, 2-3 times/month. The wife and I have a couple with popcorn most nights, and give a few to friends who like beer, and we don't run with too many folks who don't like beer.
