How often do you get drunk?

Another one of these? I've read so many of these "how often do you get shit housed?" threads lately it makes me miss the "What's the difference between a beer geek and beer snob?" discussion. It usually breaks down something like this. About 15% is in the all the fucking time, I'm drunk right now category. (That's usually where I am). Around another 25% goes to the I would never lower myself to become intoxicated, that's for the troglodytes drinking Bud lite, even though I drink 10%ABV beers constantly crowd, and the remaining 60% who's take is basically of course I get drunk now and then, the whole point of this website is our love for strong beer that's high in alcohol. Crunch the numbers. I bet that sums it up pretty well.

 

Once a month maybe. Occasionally with intent. You can't tell me you're gonna sample a few dozen beers and not get drunk. Usually 1 to 2 beers on a few nights a week

 

Not nearly enough.

 

I was hungover for an entire day yesterday because I got drunk Sunday night. Whoops. But I was watching football having "meh" beers

And a couple Fireball shots.

I didn't mean for it to happen but it did, and the hangover lasted the entire day. That never happens.

About once a year, and even that is a mistake. In other words, my goal is never.

I'll occasionally buzz it up at social gatherings. At home I usually limit to about 2, maybe 3 a day, mostly on the weekends.
