How often do you get half pours or flights?

Pretty much whenever they are offered. A craft beer bar near me has $4 flights (four 5-oz pours) during Happy Hour which is hard to beat. At breweries I prefer flights since with full pours I'm limited to trying two beers at most.

Plus at a brewery like Flying Dog (which I'll be visiting on Sunday) do I really want a full pint of their experimental beers? Umm, probably not. But I'll happily take my chances on a flight with 5-oz pours!

Pretty much whenever. I usually have to drive, so half pour or flight works well. Then I can taste some beers and still be good to drive. Not too often I want to sign up for a whole pint, especially imperial pint. Mainly because I don't get out to breweries often enough.
