How often do you think about beer?

All the time.......I only drink beer on weekends now or any day I am on vacation. I could drink beer everyday if it weren't for the calories and the pounds that IPA's pack on! I used to drink beer everyday but swear I enjoy it more only drinking on weekends. Seems more sacred to me and I enjoy the anticipation of that first sip Friday after work!

 

Im finding it easier to moderate during the week, run a bunch, and hit the gym a lot at lunch. Seems to allow me some freedom. Some work days, ok MOST work days, require at least a couple of beers once home.

 

Same here. All the time. I go into every store and look at the beer section just in case there is something I want. I watch beer podcast, on here all of the time. And I only drink on weekends to try and keep the weight off.

 

Between loving beer, working with beer (leaving a brewing industry job to pursue a career in beer sales), homebrewing, and needing something to do between pitches during baseball games; between downs during football games; ect... I'd say that I'm also always thinking about beer.

 

I think about it while running, while showering, while eating, while brushing my teeth, while watching TV, while hanging out, while reading, while studying, while drinking, while using the bathroom, and if thats not enough, I dream about it while I sleep. I need professional help.

 

I don't even remember what it was like seeing "BA" and assuming it meant bachelor's degree, instead of deciphering whether it means barrel-aged, beer advocate, or Bitter American.

 

Way too much.

 

About as often as I used to think about something else when I was about 14.

Beer has replaced music as my #2 obsession.

my first thought when reading the post title

 

Probably more than I ought to. I've started to notice that ordinary smells sometimes remind me of beers more than the actual smell. Examples: I was standing next to a pine tree and my first thought was that it smelled like a great IPA, today in class the person next to me was eating a banana and my first thought was of a hefe, and once while drinking coffee and trying to describe the flavors I thought to myself that it had an nice "stout" taste to it.

 

When I chew and spit into a clear plastic cup I think to myself that it looks like a nice foamy brown ale

 

A lot. Between homebrewing and staying on top of brewery releases, I pretty much have to bring my A game.

 

Kind of a lot. If I am waiting in line, if I am bored or if I am planning a meal. That's a lot.

I think about it quite a bit, actually.

 

I only thought about it once, but I haven't stopped.
