How often do you think about beer?

This makes me feel better. Almost every time I go to the store I check out the beer selection, even if I'm not buying. Anytime I go on a trip I look up breweries or beer bars in the area, I think about what beer would be good with whatever I happen to be eating. When planning trips, I seriously consider bringing my own glassware in case there aren't any oversized wine glasses wherever I'm staying. It's god damn ridiculous to be honest.

 

So so glad to see this thread. Thinking about beer, home brewing, and drinking beer all day everyday. I can research different beers I wish I've had all day and could read through reviews while having a beer, or not. Thinking about beer during lunch, before work, during work, when driving, riding my bike, while having a beer, I mean ALL THE TIME.

If I travel for work or pleasure, fist thing I think of is "What bars & breweries are in the area?". Life revolves around beer and beer makes my life revolve.

I drive too much for beer. Make too many calls to find out when certain beer comes in. Hell sometimes I tell my beer shops when beers r coming in....

 

i was hooked after the following......FIRST bottle share, trade and trip to vermont. seeking out new stuff, trading up, wanting to try limited release beers, going to breweries with friends etc etc its the best hobby. so yeah pretty damn often, no shame!

 

At least once a day. Why do we all love beer so much?? WHY??? WHY???? WHY?????

 

Only when I'm respecting my mini fridge. So yeah, all the time.

 

Needs more butt.

 

All the time at work. The last thing I want to think about at work is work. And semi-often when I am outside of work.

 

Still nowhere near enough to take the top spot over sex, but a lot.

 

Constantly. I'm at work now and looking through the forums. I find myself reading reviews of beers I'm searching out quite often. And I'm constantly thinking about what locals beer I can get my hands on for trades for things that are hard for me to find.

 

Only when I'm awake. No beer-related dreams...yet.

 

In a nutshell, this is it for all of us I think.

When I'm bored my thoughts turn to beer, otherwise I'm generally able to keep focused. However, sometimes I'm focused on beer.

I've had to remind myself on many occasions while planning business trips that I need to actually accomplish some business and not turn it into a beercation. Since joining BA and getting more active about visiting breweries and following beer releases, I swear I spend 4 times as much time booking my travel arrangements so I can find the best local breweries to visit, arrange flights to allow me time to visit them, find hotels close by so I can walk back, search out the best bottle shops to bring stuff back home, etc. And I used to be content settling for the 500+ shelf beers available at my local bottle shop... oh, the horror!

 

From 8-5, 5 days a week

 

All day. And I dream about it sometimes.

 

Since I had my first 120 minute (yesterday) pretty much non stop since, well, yesterday (about 120 minute anyway)!!!
