Even though the letters are switched up it makes me think of Canadian Breakfast Stout...

To answer op's question: All the fucking time.

To answer op's second question: alcoholism is only a problem if you think it's a problem, or something like that.

It's my job as a beer manager, so every day, for hours on end.

I would even if it wasn't my job though.

Not as much as wine and Scotch whisky but still quite often, especially in summer.

I'm obssessed just like all of you. I have BA minimized on my screen at work (I'm here now). And after finding out that Green Flash is building another brewery right down the street from me, my girlfriend said "I've truly lost you forever". God, I love beer!

PS - I constantly get emails from online vendors that remind me I have left items in my cart. :grinning:

PPS - My girlfriend mentioned the IRS yesterday in a conversation and all I could think of was RIS...lol.

As soon a I get to work at 7am, I immediately want a beer. It is very hard to wait those 9 hours till I get home and am able to crack that W00tstout or that Schlafly Pumpkin Ale.

Edit: I am at work and need beer. Right. Meow.

I love beer but I don't give much thought to it unless I'm on BA or someone is talking to me about it.

If I have any downtime I'm usually on here, homebrew talk or northern brewer. I usually start my day with some great coffee and surf the forums for a bit, and after work I'll pick up a six pack or 12 of something that I've been waiting for to come out or something new. I'm either thinking about it, drinking it, planning brew days or learning more about it.

This thread has given me more ideas on why to think of beer more often, but to answer the question...

Way too much. Thinking about beer usually results in buying or trading more beer.

All the time. When watching TV, if a character appears with a beer, I lean forward to see if I can identify it.

It's 9.30am and I'm on BA. Wife walked in to use the computer, saw where I was, sighed, rolled her eyes, and left the house.

    I THINK she's coming back...........maybe...

Always. Think about how much better a breakfast stout would be than my morning coffee. What IPA I could go for with lunch. Think about beers I could trade for at work. I had a dream that I had a peanut butter stout and it was the greatest thing to touch my lips. ISO: A kick ass PB Stout!

Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout
-Tastes like Reese's Puffs Cereal. Unfortunately, its a small San Diego brewery and they don't bottle, sorry! But if you are ever in SD you should def try this beer if you want a PB stout.

Think about beer often. It's actually pretty calming, because I enjoy it, and I have aged and matured enough in this life that I no longer get anxious about the bottle releases and rare beers I won't get too, and there are many. A mature individual goes to work and eats dinner with his wife and doesn't ditch his responsibilities to drive 5 hours then stand in line for another 3 to get a bottle or two of rare beer when the store on the corner has 500+ bottles to choose from, and one still knows where to get bourbon county variants when they come out.

Still I have picked up my phone to read a text message from a trade partner and thought about what I'd be getting and sending WHILE teaching a class full of kids, so maybe I'm not that mature after all. I try not to think about beer during sex but I do like to think about it while falling asleep.

To the point that it's a distraction... especially if I have a great tasting planned (order to drink the beers, food pairings, amount, etc.)
