How old is this lagunitas sucks?

    Picked up a 6er of what I thought was fresh Lagunitas Sucks, but after getting home I noticed there was dried beer down the side. Started looking for a date code on the side and saw this:

    0379010340

    Did some searching for Lagunitas bottle dates and this doesn't look like any current format they use.

    How old is this beer? I need to know if I should go back to the store and complain/return my beer.

    Interesting in that the carton the six pack comes in gives a 2012 date. I guess they had cartons to unload? There is no way this is old beer even though I did not see a date. Tastes way to good.

    First three digits is the day of the year. Feb 6-ish.

    This year it is coded differently. Picture below is from this year. Bottled on day 340 (dec 6)

    Nope only the 10 digit # on the bottle in a single line. Sounds like this is from last years run.

    So I grabbed a 6 pack of this today and i think it's from last year...the six pack holder (the text right next to the handle) says "and now in 2012 we are stuck with it...could be worse." The beer isn't terrible but it's not as good as I remember it. Can someone check there 6 pack and see if it says "in 2013..." I just want some confirmation before I go and try to return it at the store tomorrow.

    I'm thinking with the popularity of Sucks, that it is fresh, it sells quickly. I thought it was better last year as opposed to this year. I think it lives up to it's name!

    Oh, no. Although I believe the bottle says exactly what the holder says only in much smaller print. I don't have the holder in front of me though, sorry.

    The bottles from this year will have the year stamped I think mine were "363 3", 3 being the year.
    If its from last year, the last number for the year wont be on there, just the 3 digit Julian code.

    361 is the 3 hundreed 61th day of the year. If it says 2012 then it is roughly 13 months old I believe.
