how to cope without craft beer?

If you're getting in to the Champagne region, like Lille or Sedan, you're set, that's biere de garde country. Plenty of great ones you can't find anywhere else. They're not hop bombs, though, but if you like Brett there's plenty that are funky as hell.

 

I used an app, BeerBuddy, to find places with variety. In Rome, there was beer at the local grocery, but it was warm macro lager and Guinness. I was able to find a place two blocks away that had craft beer.

 

Well i've never had this problem while traveling. But if I go to a restaurant that does not have a single beer I like I just get water :/
