Bad trades happen. And when they do we understand the need to warn the community, however, please read the following before starting a Bad Trader thread.

Criteria for Starting a Bad Trader Thread
    • Was the trade conducted on BeerAdvocate?
    • Is your trade partner's account verified?
    • Did you use the Feedback System?
    • Have you given them a chance to make it right?
    • Have you exhausted all methods of contact?
If you answered NO to any of the above, don't post a bad trader thread. (Exception: It Forward threads, in some cases.)

If you answered YES to ALL of the above, continue.

    Forum:

    Title Format
    Bad Trader: <username>

    Message Format
    • Ensure that you tag their username using @<username> in your post. This will alert them to the thread.
    • Tell your side of the story. Just the details. No need to get emotional or rude.
    • Include every detail of the trade. What was agreed upon, what was sent (or not sent), how long it took, communication flow, and any other pertinent information.
    • Don't post any personal information.
Do not contact us. Let the community and mods attempt to help.

    Good luck.
