How To Fix This Mash Problem

with a false bottom where does your dip tube draw wort from? the bottom of the kettle or just below the false bottom? I foresee different solutions depending on your setup.

 

I have the same issue treyrab..biggest difference is that my system is steam injection so I have to brew to volume so the extra water in the MT becomes a problem with sparging etc...I think I will try the marbles first..I have a friend who is in the industrial resin field and I'm having him look into a resin to put in to fill that void..I'll keep you posted on what I come up with
