How to get a Bomb dropped on me.

    So I've been looking all over the place for a Prairie Bomb, as I've been told it is available in CA, but I've only ever found their Prarie Ale (and even that is rare in my area). I've resigned to trading to make this big want happen.

    Is this a shelf beer in some places? What would be an appropriate beer from Southern California to get a Bomb sent out my way? Thanks for the perspective!

    from my experience, Bomb is shelf beer in OK (home state), and pretty readily available in AR, KS & MO (I think, on that last one). a bit harder to get but not impossible in TX.

    should take $6ish good beer that isn't distributed in those states, basically

    Last drop in LA area was a couple weeks ago, dunno about SB. How are you trying to track it down? It normally sells out quick (I have seen it go in hours), so you really need to keep on top of Instagram, Facebook, or whatever your store uses to disseminate info about new releases.

    BOMB! is one of the easiest beers to trade for, try Alpine or maybe even Modern Times and I'm sure someone will help you out. Prairie brews BOMB! in fairly large quantities, so rarity isn't really a factor here.

    Alright, I've put out a ISO feeler. @PG2G, I don't really track LA beer landings, as I've pretty far away to make a spur of the moment trip.

    Yessir. Just got a very strange alert from my Local BevMo today, in fact, bearing the awesome news that we finally get Ska Brewing in town!

    You are a champion indeed! I actually consulted seekabrew to (allegedly) confirm that OK doesn't get Firestone before posting my ISO. We'll see how it works out, and I will happily take you up on your offer if I don't get any bites.

    I wish it was a shelf beer in MO. I believe we have gotten 2 shipments so far and neither lasted very long
