Hello everyone ! my name is Andrew. I would love to get started trading beers but I am not sure how to approach/take my first steps. It seem Highly rated traders may not want to risk trading with a newbie but I also don't want to trade with a poorly rated trader either. Is there a thread for first timers that I am over looking ? What beer From Boston are sought after aside from the popular Alchemist and Hill Farm, as they are a pain in the ass to get to... especially Hill ? Any help would be very very appreciated.

Everyone is new at trading at some point, I would recommend reading that blog. When you do find a trade welcome to your new addiction.

There's lot's of sought after beer that's available here in Boston - Trillium, Jack's Abby, Night Shift are all pretty sought after. MBC and Allagash aren't as limited to Boston but I've still seen those in the trading threads as well. If you want to venture out a little bit people definitely are after Tree House. It's a lot easier than getting HF or HT.

Awesome ! Jacks is right down the street and I know them fairly well , Trillium and Night shift are around but its hard as hell to get there wild or sour beers. I am not ruling out Alchemist or Hill but those need planning to get there.

The upcoming Framinghammer variants will definitely be tradeable, I got a great selection of midwest brews for them earlier this year (Hop Juju, Zombie Dust, etc.).

Trillium's BA beers are probably higher in demand, but FPPA in particular is still popular.

It looks like you might be covered on the Hardywood beers, but I have pretty easy access to Lickinghole Creek beers at the store I shop at in Northern Virginia. Send me a message if you are interested in working something out. We were all first time traders at one point, so I would be more than happy to trade with you.

This! This past year I traded Framminghammer variants for Prop, BA Dark Lord (though it took many bottles), Hunaphu and others. The PB&J and Cocoa-Nut will have the highest value as they haven't been bottled before.

Stock up on those and you should be fine. If you live or work near Jack's Abby, you will be in better shape than the majority of beer traders. Shelf Jack's Abby stuff also trades well. You should have no problem trading beers.
