I just received a bottle of BCBVS and I'm convinced I want to complete the collection, with the exception of Rare at the moment. I've got a bottle of Black Note, would it be an insult asking for a combination of any two of Coffee/Bramble/Bourbon County? Possibly even for all three? I know the question is subjective and some desperate individual out there that's just dying for some Black Note could possibly throw all three or four bottles at me for it, so I'm just curious what the consensus is.

black note carries a high value based on its exceptional rating, low bottle count and difficult accessibility. it's definitely much rarer than ANY of the bourbon counties, so I don't see why you couldn't trade it for a couple of the variations. you could probably package it with something else to get a rare as well.

I know someone who traded Black Note for Rare straight up. But, as always, it takes the right trader...

I would definitely think you could land Coffee + Bramble + BCBS. I just traded my last Black Note away for two Beatification and a Coffee.

OP. I would do a trade for all 3. Even a vintage bcbs is ya want

You should have no problem getting the 3 Bourbon County varieties you mentioned. *As evidenced above^^^

I agree, however, it wouldn't be from me. Every variant and vintage of Bourbon County is a better beer than Black Note. It's the epitome of a beer whose value (and ratings) has soared due to rarity and hype. If you want to know what hype tastes like, this is it. It's a solid beer, but in no possible way a game-changer. Just my opinion of course.

'T would be mine as well. I'd have no desire to trade that much for a Black Note (though I have yet to try it...both base beers are a-ok), but it seems like that is what it's going for these days.
