It seems that it would work well for quite a few styles because of the nucleation point and tulip style top ? I finally found a few for sale and I must say they seem really neat and well made

The red dots on mine started falling off (not scratching off, literally falling off) pretty quickly, so it's not THAT well made. I've almost completely stopped using them, but I think they'd do well for something like an IPA. I'd still put non-pint-glass styles in a snifter, even though it has the bell.

Drinking a Torpedo from one as we speak..As stupac mentioned above, I bascially use mine for any style I would have previously drank from a pint. Belgians still go to my Ommegang tulip and stouts or the occasional Barleywine go to my giant CBS snifter

i found them to be too thin and easily breakable.

I prefer the 22 oz version. It almost holds a whole bomber and feels sturdier.

That glass is overdone in my opinion. It tries to combine multiple glasses in one and just complicates the experience.

This is a glass that I have never liked. I find it too big and clumsy for anything other than a draft pour and. I don't like the look or the feel of the glass either. I prefer snifters for bigger beers and regular pint glasses for other beer.

I like the glass in general, but I have to say that the nucleation point is kind of vapor-ish/gimmicky. In the few glasses I have (or had), they were etched poorly and never did much with the beer. Otherwise I love the shape.

I've broken all of the ones I've had, but that's the fault of the beer (okay okay, maybe mine), not the glass.

Is there an outlet for the 22oz now? I only ever saw them in the ATL airport when I travelled; I only saw the pints in stores.

I never use mine now a days. I pretty much use this glass for anything I normally would have used a pint glass for, which is where the perfect pint falls under

I know a lot of people consider the S.A glass to be an enhanced 'pint glass.' But IMO it's really a tulip from a 'functional' standpoint.

They're good for the price that I paid for them (~$5 a piece), but I hate cleaning them. I really have to work to squeeze my hand in them to get a sponge to the bottom of the glass.

As a few others have mentioned, it's really just become a replacement for a standard pint glass in my house. For many beers I still go to my Duvel Tulip.

We have a few free ones from some packs my roommates bought. It's sort of interesting, seems sturdy, but not really actually useful, plus the ring around the glass pisses me off.

I don't use it as much as I used to but it is a versatile, quality glass.
