I gave this a thought last night and couldnt think of a satisfactory solution.
would you use 100% cocoa powder like the one used for chocolate cakes, or maybe a nice 80% cocoa swiss chcolate bar, or maybe cocoa beans?
then again how would you infuse it?
for the above mentioned ingredients i thought of mixing the powder with the brew (which i squinted at) or maybe french pressing bits or the chocolate bar or just drop the whole bar into a jar and let in rest overnight. which seems to have a lot of cons.
probably melting the chocolate bar pieces and dissolve it slowly into the brew seems like the best idea i could think of...

Any great ideas and creativity is greatly appreciated!

I'm a little confused. Are you a home brewer who is asking how to infuse chocolate into your beer, or are you talking about just adding chocolate to an already bottled stout (or whatever) that you bought from a store?

obviously buying a strong chocolate flavored beer would take all the fun away, so thats currently not an option

Wouldn't the oil and fats in the chocolate would cause all sorts of problems, head retention being the least of them?

Edit, sorry I misread your post. I thought you were brewing the beer.

The commentary and one liners from this video are amazing. "Looks like when you give Buffalo Trace to a girl scout and she throws up for the first time" Hilarious

The Bruery decided to make a peanut butter Black Tuesday variant for the last Initiation and apparently all they did was melt peanut butter to a liquid state and throw it in a cask of Black Tuesday. That shit turned out thick and oily to the point that I had to go into the bathroom and wash the glass with soap and water. I would recommend not doing a similar process with chocolate bars or whatnot.

If this doesn't work I'd go with a scoop of chocolate ice cream if it's a stout. Yum!

Why not just suck down a chocolate bar before you have a beer? And make sure some of it stays between your teeth for that lasting flavor.

Have you considered just adding a chocolate liqueur and calling it a "cocktail"?
