How's Epic Brewing?

    Big Bad Baptist was great....the rest of their offerings are...meh

    I agree. Wasn't impressed with the other offerings.

    Tried their Sour Apple Saison tonight. Very saison-like, was a better than decent example, but nothing I'll buy again. Now their BBB stout I'm happy to have for breakfast any day.

    Went to an Epic/ Firestone Walker tasting/food pairing here in town and it just wasn't fair. Firestone Walker has to be in my top 10-15 breweries. And drinking the same styles from each brewery next to each other, set them worlds apart. Love Big Bad Baptist, but the rest of their offerings to me are pretty average. Our bonus beer was the Apple Saison from Epic, just not my style and Velvet Merkin from Firestone Walker which is amazing! I would say the next best beer from Epic is their DIPA.

    Just had my first big bad baptist, Wow, That was damn good! The most Coffee forward stout i have had. Kudos Epic
