Headed up the river...Any breweries or brew pubs you can dock at or walk to from a boat Kinda hope someone answers Peekskill
Peekskill is right on the water next to the Peekskill Train station. It's after indian point but before bear mountain, that's the only one I can think of. I know there is a boat launch there but I have no idea if you can dock your boat nearby for the day.
Newburgh Brewing Company is right on the Hudson as well about 20 miles north of Peekskill. No idea about docking at the marina there though, but if you can it's probably only a 5 minute walk.
Looks like there is some kinda launch/dock here near Peekskill, not sure if they are private or public but I remember seeing boats there when I got off the train! here's a google maps street view - http://goo.gl/yejAQS
Check this link out. It is in the post just above this one. http://thinknydrinkny.com/NYSBA_Brochure_INSIDE.pdf
Peekskill has a public boat launch. I've launched there before. I'm not sure what the official rules are, but there are a few docks there and I doubt anyone would give you any problems if you were tied up there for a half hour or so...
You can hit Peekskill and Newburgh both are a short walk from the boat dock like less then 1/4 mile.I've tied up at both docks if it's a great weekend weather wise you might have a harder time finding a spot. Either way IMO the best part of the Hudson River is between Peekskill and Newburgh good luck cheers.
Be adventurous and head further North to Troy. Brown's Brewing is right next to the Troy Downtown Marina and great food (Dinosaur BBQ and Bomber's Burrito to name a few). If you go on a Saturday, there's an awesome Farmer's Market and the city has a great vibe.
