Theres no can release today that I know about, so no bands. Brewery should be open for pours and crowlers to the public.

 

I mean on saturday when cans release.

 

Hey guys - looking to visit the area next Thursday through Saturday and hit this and Equilibrium. Any suggestions and to any other places to see, stay, eat (bring in food to HRB), etc.?

 

Just take a look at their instagram for previous release details. Wristbands are usually handed out a few minutes after 8AM and you should be back in line by 11:30 or so (definitely before the next tier of bracelets is buying their stuff). Braclets can be acquired by a staffer near the front door after they go through the line.

 

Thanks for reply. I just worry that I can’t get the wrist bands even if I get there around 10-11am.

 

You should still be able to get one at the front door, but there is a chance your allotment may be cut depending on turnout.

Gonna probably do the short hike up Mt. Beacon that morning and then drop in.

 

I'm tentatively curious about Total Internal Reflection. No wheat, no adjuncts (other than flaked oats), no DDH, but still sour. I'm not the biggest fan of beers that go crazy on the oats (Other Half Dream/Daydream series, I'm looking at you...), but I'm wondering if they were able to pull something unique out of the malted + flaked oat combo.

Both versions of Soleil sound freaking amazing, though!

 

Finally made it up to Beacon today and was very excited to check out the brewery. The weather was beautiful, everyone was friendly, lots of puppies and most importantly the beers were great. Anyone know if they ever going to finish the patio?

 

HVB has the best can design in NY there I said it.

I've been following Evan Cohen's artwork for the past few months, but the can design on these is some of his best work.

The beers don't sound half-bad either.

 

I don't go crazy for glassware/tekus and have yet to go to HV (live in brooklyn, no car), but damn that is one nice piece of glassware.

 

Thinking about heading up this weekend, question for the regulars: if i get there around 9, what time will I get cans? Need to be back in the city by 4 and am wondering if its workable...

 

If you’re up there, how are lines? Think anything will last until the afternoon?

 

I got here at 945 and was told I was number 306.

 

How are the beers, very curious.
