stopped in last night and i agree its a pain to find. thanks for the churchill st tip. ive been following this brewery for a while and was glad to check it out. their whole lineup is incredible. one of the brewers was behind the bar and was such a nice guy. he mentioned canning incandenza and the sour ipas. those would easily be my crushers for the summer. so excited to see where these guys are going.

Any word as to when they'll start canning or bottling?

Nice place. Stopped by Sat. Tried the animal balloons. They have one hell of a sour program going.

Stopped by this weekend: Cool space for sure. Animal Balloons is one of the best beers I've had in the last couple years. Absolute stunner.

Damn, that place is awesome. Had forever overhead, incandenza, balloon animal, and king wavy. All were fantastic. Their spurs are a+

Visited for the first time yesterday evening, usually not a big fan of sours, but Animal Balloon and Soleil were very well done. Also managed to have a King Wavy, which was surprisingly fantastic, and a guest pour of Crispy Little from Suarez.

They have a nice space, I hope they plan to set up some outdoor seating in the summer to enjoy the sounds of Fishkill Creek... on my way out I must have stood there for five minutes just listening to the water.

Made a trip this afternoon, thought it was pretty great. Finding the parking lot off Churchill was no problem and quickly saw a number of people drinking beers and enjoying the warm weather by the random tractors and other heavy equipment laying around outside. Definitely a pretty humble factory / warehouse appearance from the outside, but I was surprised how clean and bright it was once we were inside. I tried the two sour IPAs and King Wavy and they were all excellent - crisp and very flavorful. Everything was served in tekus, which was nice but a bit odd for 4 oz pours. Growler fills were surprisingly expensive at $20 for 32 oz but I thought the standard pours weren't too unreasonable. Overall very solid.

I would suspect for proper head formation. More and more places are opting out of samples/taster flights, as it doesn't provide a complete picture of their work. Thus, even though HVB offers samples, they are at least giving one a proper/perhaps foamy pour. Nonetheless, one is still missing out on the subtleties with temperature, development...

Looks like they're now offering crowlers

For those in NYC and interested in trying all HVB has to offer - Arts & Crafts downtown currently has King Wavy (second keg received), Adult World, and Silhouette (Tangerine) on tap now! All three are tasting great - I was particularly impressed with Silhouette as I love citrusy and dry-hopped sour ales but Adult World was great too, didn't expect to like the smoke aspect that much.

Infinity Pool on tap soon too!

Very happy to hear about this. Been looking for great new options within an hour of home. Sloop and Suarez have been great additions, but the hype of HV and now Equilibrium are very promising. Its looking like the 4 hour pilgrimages to whale town are less necessary these days. (although I love these).

On a similar note, has anyone had Instant Credibility DIPA from Greenpoint in Brooklyn? I was extremely impressed.

Mission Dolores will have Amulet on tap for their Anniversary party. I'm pretty sure this is the last keg in the wild until the next batch is released.

Silhouette was incredible. I had it at The Jeffrey in the city this week. So juicy and tart.

Oh well. I'll have to make a trip up to the brewery one of these days. Thanks for the update - I'm sure the rest of the taplist will be great anyway as usual. Cheers!

Yes, this beer is phenomenal. Best beer I have had from these guys. They really made the tangerine shine (or it just did its job well).
