Thanks for the info..I did not know about Equilibrium.. I just want to try some of their beer.

Also, I was checking out the RD website, and I see that Divided By Zero is a "Imperial Session - Pale Black IPA". ..that's a contradiction description. Love it!

Divided By Zero is a rotating hop series. They're usually IPAs in the low-6% range, but they're starting to do a couple different things too. The last DBZ was a 'brown IPA,' which was... not good. Those beers are normally fantastic, though, so I'm sure it was just an anomaly.

Also keep in mind that if you're going to be in Middletown anyway, a stop at Beer King may also be in order. Their crowler station usually has Equilibrium, D96, Sloop, Industrial Arts, and other locals. It's not too far off Rt 17 either.

I assume you're referring to this beer? https://untappd.com/b/rushing-duck-brewing-company-rdr-and-d-ekuanot/2543796

Yeah, that one was really bad. I've had some bad stuff from the RDR&D series, but as the namesake suggests it can be experimental. They always tend to be too malty for me.

DBZ typically is much, much better.

I don't recall any DBZ being a "brown IPA" though. This is the most recent to my memory - https://untappd.com/b/rushing-duck-...zero-04-12-18-el-dorado-mosaic-denali/2602115

That's the one. I thought I had seen it listed as a brown IPA, maybe I just made that up. Either way, it was revolting. Like, shockingly bad, which I have never encountered with RD before.

After not getting the hype over sour ipas, I have to say holoscene and fauna are both good. Like really good. Like I really wish I didnt waste time at newburgh brewery today and miss out on hvb cans.

The fauna was a little too limey for me. We are turning a couple of them into popsicles. Holocene was on point. Table beer was tasty, but we only ended up getting one bottle..

I wasn't too excited about Fauna hearing it but I liked it better when I tried it with the people I made friends with in line. How are going about making popsicles with them, that sounds fun.

Good to hear Table Beer is good I got 1 bottle as well

Plan on heading up to HVB and some other breweries on 7/14. Think they will be doing another release that weekend?

I think they do releases every other weekend so they should be doing one that weekend. Unfortunately they seem to alternate between Saturday morning and Friday afternoon releases and the next one is due to be a Friday release. If it's not a super hyped release some cans may last until Saturday.
