Stock Up! Get any of the fried chicken sandwiches, especially the one with an egg

Entheogen is pretty much a guaranteed saturday sell-out.

Inflorescence? Maybe, but people love their vanilla shakes.

One more question, how long does the line usually take? Will the line be finished up by say around 2pm?

Brunch at Draught Industries is good. Get coffee, food and a beer for $30. Tad pricey but won’t break the bank. I think Homespun is the name of another excellent little cafe/brunch spot but it is tiny and popular so plan ahead.

Yeah these sound like the best In a while, I wouldn’t be surprised if they do sell out, but according to one of their guys I chatted with, they have been tweaking their keg/Can ratio to avoid that happening, so who knows...

Any update on the line and/or what’s still available?

Man the line was insanely slow, I thought Other Half was bad. Tried Graven Image and Amulet on tap and they were excellent. I don't think I'll be coming again for a while when things are less crazy.

First time at HV, and that was the slowest line I've ever been in (counting times where Tired Hands had malfunctioning registers). When you have so many people coming in for a can release, I don't know why it wouldn't be worth investing in another POS. Love their beer and their general model from what I know about them, but don't think I can stand another time suck like that, especially when it really doesn't need to take that long.

The problem isn't the crowd (as many, many breweries handle it better), it's the lack of management of it. I get that the lines are good for business to a degree, but that was ridiculously tedious.

Only been to Beacon once. And hit both those spots. +1 on Draught Industries - great place. Based on the reviews I had higher hopes for Homespun. For me I thought it was decent but nothing special

If you look at their website it looks like they keep a regularly updated list via BM. At least today it shows the last update as 7/29

They've got a taproom to grab some drafts, correct?

I'm from out of state. Planning a visit

Read through this thread for specifics on where to eat and such in Beacon, but yes, they have a taproom. Can sales about wvery two weeks although they randomly dropped two cans yesterday so things may be changing.

They want to be able to serve the local community + those that come into the taproom during the week/not on release days. The plan is to have beers like Pillow Hat + Feel No Way consistently available, hence releasing them the day after the big release on Saturday.

As discussed earlier in this thread, in 2017, the "featured" can releases have been the last saturday of every month and the friday two weeks prior.

The "rotational" beers (3x feel no way, 1x pillow hat, and 1x incandenza re-release) have been pretty random as capacity allows. These aren't the types of beers that will draw huge lines in today's beer scene.

A quick update as I was at the release on Saturday. I got there around 2:30 pm and waited in line for about 30 minutes. The line quickly dissipated after that, but by sometime between 3:30-4 pm they were sold out of everything. With the "surprise" release yesterday, I walked in around 2 pm, got a 6 pack of Incandenza, and walked out with no line. Was happy about that since Incandenza is one of my favorites.

Anyone know if Demiurge cans or kegs will make their way down to Death and Company?
