Will be in the Hudson Valley area in couple of weeks and wanted see y'all's recommendations for the Hudson Valley area. Breweries/Brewpubs? Bars? Bottle shops? Must eat food spots? I know I am going to hit up The Peekskill Brewery and the Birdsall House. Thanks is advance!

Decicco's - Brewster. Awesome bottle selection and a beer bar in the grocery store. Their collaboration version of Evil Twin's biscotti break is nice.

You said a couple of weeks. If that meant 4 weeks and you're in HV the 1st two weeks of November then it's also Restaurant Week(s). http://www.hudsonvalleyrestaurantweek.com/home.php

On Lucas avenue in High Falls is a nice spot for coffee, lunch, and they usually have a good beer list, called Hopheads. Bacchus in New Paltz has some good taps, including beer they make right there. Gilded Otter in New Paltz has good food but the beer they make isn't all that great anymore, not bad. Rushing Duck in Chester, which is Orange County, brews the best beer on west side of the river, open Fri. PM and Sat. Half Time Beverage has a good selection of beer for sale, Rt. 9 Poughkeepsie. Golden Rail in Newburgh has a nice tap list usually. Newburgh Brewery has decent beer. Bill Joe's Ribworks in Newburgh is good barbeque, not a great beer list though. Keegan Ales in Kingston is a great pub and brewery, decent food, good music. And Captain Lawrence is worth a visit though it isn't as great as once it was it still is some of the best beer around. BM me when you're around always happy to show off our area.

CaveDave said it best. Tons more recommendations if you need. I sent you a BM. It's a serious question if you're still looking
