Mexican Cake. I don't understand why it trades so highly, I'd take BOMB over it any day.

ANY IPA that's a year old is not the brewers intentions of how it should be consumed. Except Stone Enjoy After...

I'll likely draw flak, but I thought RR Consecration didn't live up to the hype. I thought it was good and damn smooth at 10%, but it wasn't world class. I think most Crooked Stave beers are better.

I had The Abyss for the first time last year. It was charred and muddled. I would have liked to see more brightness or sweetness out of it, and the barrel character could have been much better. I had another bottle I was planning on aging, but I gave it away as an extra in a trade (I figured someone else would love it).

I, too, am not a big fan of Bigfoot. But the SN beer that most disappointed me was BA Narwhal--it bored me to tears.

Agree with the FW velvet Merkin. First one I had a few weeks from release was great but every one after that has been watery and absent of flavor.

    I only have 2 data points/batches, so I can't make a blanket statement.

For me it was Fou' Foune. I've been wanting to try this beer for such a long time and it was just too subtle and lacking flavor.

That would have a huge impact on your experience. We know that IPA's lose freshness/hoppiness after a week and very much so at one month. Combined with the fact that heady is unpasteurized, I'm surprised you didn't get sick.

I'll go with the one I'm drinking right now: Upland Raspberry Lambic. I've had this and Strawberry recently, and both were way too sour and just overall underwhelming.

Grapefruit Sculpin. Solid, but tasted zero grapefruit. Give me a Habanero Sculpin instead any day.

Ahh, the beauty of our hobby. I want to reach through the screen and slap some sense into some of you because of your overrated scale, but I can't make you taste things a certain way and vice versa. No one is right or wrong and it's great.

But to all you Zombie Dust haters, y'all are crazy :-)

My beer that is a BA score of 100 that I have not been happy with the past few months is Permanent Funeral. Used to love it, but it's failed me, at least in 2015 - bland, weak, almost a drain pour, and FFF bombers are priced so high. Therefore, overrated.

I had opened a 2014 bottle a couple of months ago. To me, it just wasn't that memorable with minimal apricot flavor and sourness(after hearing how sour it was from other reviewers). Could have been a bad bottle.

Without question the beer that comes to mind for me is BCBS Rare. I drank mine in a share in 2012. The base beer was just consumed by PVW. Everything I have ever had from Jackie O's. On the opposite end-- amazing surprises: Freetail Woodicus (most mysterious golden coconut cream bomb) Upright Sole Composition series… seriously like all of the ones I've had, Short's Bloody Beer (Seriously this couldn't be done better). Squatter's Fifth Element (was blown away by this some years ago at woodshop) Squatter's Outter Darkness, to me the most under appreciated easily accessible beer.

Dark Lord - tried multiple times to enjoy it but it's just a sugary/syrupy mess.

Westbrook Gose. I love the sourness, but I can't get past the stinky cheese/sweaty armpit flavor.
