heading up to Arcata to visit some relatives. They are not very beer inclined. Are there any good bottle shops in the area. Anywhere within 50 miles. Help please.

the Local in Eureka is probably your best bet for a taproom, and they have bottles for sale to go as well. Humbrews in Arcata is a decent spot to get a pint too.

The Arcata co-op (north coast co-op) is your best bet for bottles selection in the area, they have some great stuff from time to time. Also check out Blondies on California Ave and LK Wood.

Several breweries worth checking out too, including Lost Coast in Eureka, Mad River in Blue Lake, Redwood Curtain in Arcata, and Six Rivers in McKinleyville (not a fan personally).

I would recommend Redwood Curtain first among the local breweries.
