Does humidity affect the quality of cellared beer?

I have my beer aging in a darker, more humid cooler area.

If there is a cork involved, then yes. ~70% humidity is a good ballpark to make sure the corks don't dry out and shrink.

Crown caps? I'd say no. Could be wrong, but it's hard to see how it could affect a capped beer...unless maybe rust is a factor?

Interesting point. In the winter though, even with a humidifier, I get no where near 70% humidity.

I thought that this was no longer a factor with modern corks, where even the real ones are sealed. I guess it depends, but I've never seen a shrunk cork.
Rust is definitely a factor, but I think you need to age for a long time before it matters. In fact I believe OP asked this same question earlier and I gave him that same answer then.
