Actually no, I plan to be there as early as they will let me, just like everyone else. That's the issue. The old fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me at play here.

I HOPE and WANT CCB to have this fixed, but seeing is believing.

Even if it takes forever to get in, it's still a kick ass beer fest, so I'll forget the line quickly. Cheers!

Side note: Terribly run queue lines are one of my biggest pet peeves. Not just for CCB (though it is the case we are talking about now) but in general. They are the simplest thing to plan for when letting large numbers of folks in at one time. It's basic math and contingency planning (i.e. extra scanning devices booted and ready to go if a few fail or the lines are moving slower than expected).

3500 folks divided by desired time to get everyone in, say 20 minutes = 175 people per minute
If one scanner can allow 12 folks in per minute, then you need to account for 15 active scanners minimum (and probably at least 7-9 back-ups).

If it was like last year I would say zero reason to line up early because CCB finally had it right....New Venue = New Problems so I would say line up early based on CCB Track Record...just being honest

 

I'll be lining up at 10am...that hour will be important for hydrating up right before hand.

My buddy booked us at the Ramada by the airport. Would love to have a share if anyone is staying there, but I don't think i saw that one posted yet. We will be flying in Wednesday evening from Pittsburgh. Definitely wanna check out Cycle if we can get over there. Would also like to take down another El Jefe from The Taco Bus.

Trying to think where to stay Friday and Saturday night. Family in tow with three young kids. I won't be driving so anything within 20 min.
Locals what works or is decent ?

Wife says the sail port water front appeal to her so far. ??

Didn't plan on a room but appearently we will be coming from ft Meyers area and working towards Orlando area before headed home that week
