Another first timer here. Will CCB be selling bottles of any of their other brews, or is this a tasting-only event? The rules say no glass allowed in the park so, sadly, I would assume that *nobody* will be selling bottles of anything. Is that correct?

    What about cans...?

Been 3 years since they last bottled a Hunahpu Variant (Brandy Barrel)...that's why it currently sells for over 400 a bottle online

No..you will need to get all other CCB Beers at Brewery or places like Leukens or Total Wine

There's a Publix just across the Platt St bridge. Most of them have cans of Jai Alai/Invasion/Maduro. Basic stuff, but if the store is on the ball, they will stock up for a bridge parade of walk ups.

Craft beer cellar in Brandon and total wine across from Ccb were nice spots when I visited

Yeah, I figured as much. What a shame. CCB and all the visiting breweries would make a killing in sales if they were able to sell bottles at the event...

Sounds good, but I can get the core beers anytime at my own local Publix (though the Jai Alai does tend to come fresher down by the bay). I'm looking to acquire some of the rarities and special releases. In particular, I have got to get my hands on a bottle or two of Error Establishing Database Connection. As a computer programmer who works with SQL every day, it's a must-have trophy. And of course it sounds delicious to boot.

I love Craft Beer Cellar. Excellent selection, a growler filling station, and real nice and super knowledgeable staff. A definite must-stop-in if you're visiting the area (and especially if you live nearby).

Hi Shawn.....the Error Establishing Database Connection was an El Catador beer only unfortunately. It was one per member.

Havron...when CCB used to previously sell Hunahpu Bottles at Hunahpu Day it was a disaster so I can't even imagine the chaos that would ensue if every Brewery was selling beer...they nailed it last year so I am hoping it goes well again even though its at a new venue

It would definitely be a nightmare and there are some breweries that will be at Huna Day that don't have distribution in Florida. I would assume that would prohibit them from selling bottles at the event.

Bottles could previously be sold at Huna day because CCB has a liquor (beer) license that allows for package sales.
The permit the city issues for festivals and events on public property has no such provision. That is why the bottles are being given out at the Marriott. Most hotels have a liquor license that allows package sales. Huna is moslt likely being sent by JJ taylor to the Marriott and in return for renting the space the hotel is letting them give the bottles out that way.

Does anyone know if the window has passed for someone to be added on as the name for the 2nd ticket? I have a buddy looking for one and just wondering if it's possible or too late. @Grant214905

The ticket buyer should receive an email directly from CCB asking for the name.

I can tell you that the Thursday before Huna '15 I was at the brewery on a tour and there were several employees huddled around 5 or 6 empty barrels - they were opened and prepped to receive beer. All of those barrels were labeled in black marker 'hunahpu' and they were in the act of filling them with 2015 Huna. I watched them do it. About 10 or 15 feet away from them were a few of the pallets of various brewery's kegs for Huna day. It was a cool day to be there.

If someone is saying there are NO barrels filled with Huna and are being honest, it is because they emptied them into bottles and/or kegs or dumped them due to issues.
