Civil Society joined the lineup yesterday. Excited to try some of their IPAs, I've heard good things.

A separate note, I'm headed to the Florida Brewers Guild Beer Fest on Saturday. First time. Anyone have any experience with it? It's at the same location as Hunahpu Day.

 

Pulp sounds mighty delicious. Definitely looking forward to trying that one.

 

It's a terrific beer fest! People don't go batshit crazy over it because you can't go whalez-ticking there but, to me, it's a demonstrable example of Florida's booming craft-beer scene; they do pour some good (and some VERY good) beers; it's a way to try beer from some places I'm not likely to hit otherwise (the far corners of this state); and it's a well-run, not overly packed event. It's a terrific way to open TBBW! See you there; cheers!

 

That coconut aged imperial stout... I cannot wait to taste that beer again!

 

Pulp is going to make for an excellent palate cleanser.

 

It's probably not going to be as good this year... They decided to age it in brandy barrels before aging it in the coconuts.

This is the greatest list of beer I've ever seen for one occasion. From the meh to the rare to the unreal. Impressive. Very very impressive.
