I am sure this is asked often (I did a search but couldn't find much) - I apologize in advance. What would the trade value be for a 2012 bottle? I have access to various NW stuff and driftwood beers (I believe only Seattle area gets these in the US), but I am not sure what it takes to land a bottle of Hunahpu. Please let me know. Thanks!
Northwest-wise, you could probably get one for an Ivan, but it wasn't released last year so you'd have to have a 2010 or wait for the next batch. Maybe a combo of Russian river sours and or abyss to the right person.
I gave up an arm and a leg but I just landed one and a few other good bottles. Thanks for the response above.
Like the original poster said, a box of RR Sours & Pliny or multiples of Abyss should get this done. Also the Hair of the Dog barrel aged releases will probably go 1:1. You might also be able to get one for some of the Cascade goodies.
I traded 2x 2012 Hunahpu; the first for a CBS, the second for a Parabola and an Abyss. I would think that if you are drowning in Abyss or know where to get it, 2x should get it done. Parabola, from what I hear, is a fricken awesome barrel-aged RIS, and the 2012 version is due to be released shortly. If you can wait, pack a few off the shelves and trade what you don't want. Thanks for the tips guys. I will be able to grab a few Parabola bottles. Abyss was tough to get last year for some reason (and I ended not being able to score one).
