I went online and looked at them, and I completely agree with you.

Productive post. How about you tell me what is so interesting about the glass to you?

As productive as your post I'd say and I just like it. Glasses don't have to be "interesting" to me.

I said what it was that I didn't like about the glass in my post. I was hoping you (or any others) would do that same and saay what it is that you like about it.

you say that the glass doesn't have to be "interesting" to you. Does that mean that what you look for in a glass is more so the size/shape/style of the glass? Or maybe you look for the branding of a rare beer or a brewery that you like regardless of the size/style/images that appear? I guess I can understand that.

As a glassware collector and proud/ashamed (depending on how I feel) proprietor of www.GLASSWHALES.tumblr.com beer glassware doesn't have to always be mindbogglingly cool for you to want it. It's more about the sheer size of the collection, and obtaining glassware from other breweries that you think are cool. It's like beer ticking but for glasses. I'll probably never even use the Hunahpu glasses I bought unless I happen to be home and drinking Hunahpu, but it sure will look cool in my display cabinet. It's a bit of a disease.

I've never really gotten that particular obsession, but there are some glasses that make me salivate. I've seen a Fantome glass that urwithdave posted months ago that got me looking, and I'm drinking out of a 7venth Sun snifter/tulip right now that I absolutely LOVE the shape of.

That being said, I'm with TheSevenDuffs -- I don't really get the Hunahpu glass (or the new t-shirt, which is hideous -- it's like Ed Hardy moved to Tampa).

I just like the beer so I like the glass I suppose but I agree it could be much cooler if it had more artwork.

the glass appears to be the same as the regular ccb glass, which happens to be one of my favorite glasses (due to the shape and size). getting another glass that is exactly the same but with a distinguishing characteristic such as art or logo or whatever is great because i often like to drink things side-by-side for comparison and glassware makes a BIG difference in the nose which largely affects the taste and the entire experience. removing the glass variable allows me to have a more pure comparison when drinking for comparison.

...that and the frickin glass says "hunahpu" on it...one of my favorite beers!!!

IMO the best/coolest CCB glass is the Humidor Series tulip.

Not to be picky, but it is very slightly different in shape. More rounded in shape than the regular CCB snifter.

Maybe I would feel differently if I got to drink Hunahpu's out of one...

IYou guys don't think that these are too small? I mean they work in certain situations but can't take a 12 oz pour. If I didn't have a couple of hunas to drink...I wouldn't have ordered the glass.

Nope, personally I needed a mid-sized snifter for more tasting situations.

For anyone looking for a size reference/comparison:

I prefer smaller glasses. I generally share a lot of the beers I drink, so I don't mind that it doesn't hold a full 12 oz bottle.

I actually think the CBS glass is too big. I don't like having a glass more empty than full, and a full 12 oz. bottle will barely fill it half way. It's more visually satisfying when you have a full glass, even if it's smaller. It's sort of like how they say having smaller plates helps you lose weight because when you fill up the plate you become visually satisfied while eating less at the same time.

How many oz is the glass on the far left? Since it isn't branded it is hard to figure out how big it is. I assumed that the Hanahpu's snifter was around 16 oz...
