Kudos to CCB and their team. It was a great night and very cool to see how aging has affected the brews. I personally thought the 2011 and 2013 were the best of the bunch. My wife favored the 2010... Maybe some others will chime in but I felt the Brandy Huna seemed to have lost much of the Brandy flavor. Was I the only one to notice this?
Some other BA's were there and I'm sure they have some pics too...

Man, what a special event. Congrats OP.

    My all-time favorite beer.

I've tried BA Huna from 5 different bottles. Some had loads of barrel, others were sweet and one was really spicy. Luck of the bottle I guess.

From your pics I gather each person got a complete vertical? That can't be true right? Split between tables, or 2, or what?

Each person got what amounted to a 4-6 ounce pour of each of the varieties...

Hoping CCB throws an event up here in Colorado during GABF week.

Thanks for the post, very cool indeed. Glad to hear that at least there is some love for older vintages. Did you still get some heat as many have said the chili is gone in the older vintages.

The heat certainly dissipates quickly. It was interesting, the 2010 had oxidized and was rather flat as you'd expect. The chocolate was still there. I found the cinnamon notes were really notable in the 2011 and 2012 vintage and the pepper notes were most distinct in the newest 2013 release.

That strange, pinkish, spoon-pushed glob looks very unappetizing. I said the same thing to my friend who was there that sent me pictures.

My brother preferred 12, I preferred 11. All were fantastic though.
