The only beer that stood out to me at hunahpu day was the Jackie o's bb dark apparation stout. Didn't see ANY hunahpu or the variants on draft all day. I did open one of my bottles of hunahpu the next day though and was blown away by it. Better than last years from what I recall. Very complex.

I didn't get to try anything too crazy but really enjoyed Miami madness and dfpf. I also realized CCB knows what's up with treatments. Right side up pineapple, pancake brown and blueberry muffin brown all tasted as advertised by the name. Unknowingly walked up to good gourd almighty which was a treat. Part of me thinks I'll never get a chance to taste a barrel'd version of Huna as I couldn't get through any of the lines at Huna day and I was also sitting in the brewery in October when they quietly tapped a keg of brandy barrel for 30,000 Facebook followers and of course I didn't check my facebook that morning. They make some tasty beer and I will continue to stop by every time I'm in Fl. Ill luck into it at some point. Hopefully if they go with this beer fest idea next year. I'll take any excuse to make a Florida vacation.

    Rum White Oak Pineapple IPA
    Burnt Hickory's Red Velvet Porter
Someone poured me a reddish purplish cider with a bright pink head that was delicious. They were next to Burnt Hickory, I think. (Didn't taste much like a cider, also wasn't DFPF)
    Miami Madness and
    DFPF
Oh, and nearly forgot... Hunahpu. So, so good. Cheers to @cubanbeerguy for hooking me up with some after I got shut out.

I think you're right! Sour Cherry Basque Cider (from the hday taplist) sounds familiar, too. Freakin' excellent! Thanks, gun.

Agree with Gravity Brewlab bringing the goods. Their "Ain't Nothin but a Thang" (sour saison with black flower hibiscus) was unreal.

That whole tent was great with Proof, Due South, Gravity, Burnt Hickory, etc..

DB Huna, Final Push and Rum WO Pineapple would all be beers that I would buy over and over and over again (hint hint CCB). All the Burnt Hickory products were great. The stand out for me was NB Love's Leopold though. There was NO LINE for that beer all day! Me and my crew just hung out there after it got crazy and had many, many fine samples of the brew. God I would kill for a keg of that... Oh yeah, and the 3 Sons were definitely the Cinderella story of the bunch in that I didn't hear about them going in but definitely the brewery on all the Floridians lips going out! Cheers to trying great beers! Must get in on the bottle share next year.

My favorites from the festival were definitely Double Barrel Hunahpoopoo (and I am not usually a fan of coffee beers) and Ghost of Hunahpu (which my friend has now named Hunahhotpoo).

I had a lot of great beers from the generous people opening bottles as well. The most impressive one to me was my friend's homebrew Smores Ale. I usually just smile and nod when a homebrewer claims their beer is supposed to taste like something that specific. I'll be damned if he didn't hit a home run with that one.

Absolutely agree on the homebrewed S'mores beer. It was the best beer I had all weekend! Wish I could give proper credit but don't know his BA handle.
