Hunahpu's Release...

When do they do the BA Hunahpu release? Never been to that one.

 

BA was released in Sept last year. I would imagine same time frame this year.

 

anyone know how much was available after the bottle restriction was lifted at 7:30?

 

One case (12 bottles) per person. Probably 100-130 in line. Could be wrong about the number in line. It was a long, fun day.

 

Whatever happened to that guy who said her Hunahpu got stolen? I couldn't find the thread...

How do they handle the bottles of Barrel-Aged Hunahpu? Are those released on a separate day? Did they stop releasing bottles of the BA Hunahpu?

 

Seperate day. Last year was the first one and I recall there was a one-bottle limit for each of the 3 bottled varieties.

 

It should be coming up soon if it follows last year's schedule. Not sure if it's worth driving from ft Lauderdale if the chance of getting a bottle is so low though.

 

Word on the street is that there won't be a BA Hunahpu bottle release this year.

 

A month or two ago they had Apple Brandy BA Huna on tap for about a week or two and you could also buy growlers of it. If I were a betting man, I'd say that took the place of BA Huna Day this year. But don't hold me to that.

 

earlier this week, ccb posted a pictured of tons of apple brandy barrels on instagram but tagged it with bourbon big sound so probably LOTS of different beers in barrels at the moment since one of the barrels said "Church on a Hill."

 

Well yea. Just off the top of my head, Capricho Oscuro, Big Sound, Campeador El Cid, Leon, and Imperial Sweet Stout should be in barrels right now. Im sure there are others too.
