If its anything like last year they will let us know the week before. I would assume some random bottles and a few random prefilled growlers, but who knows what Joey has in store.

There will be an awesome BA tasting Friday at Peg's in Gulf Port. It's part of Tampa beer week.
I currently have a BA Naked Evil for tasting and should be bringing some Surly Abrasive as well.
If it lasts another couple of weeks may also show up with a Better Half.

Anyone from JAX willing to be my Hunahpu beer mule? With the new baby, i'm on a very short leash.

 

Heading down for both Peg's on the 9th and Hunahpu the next day. I'm pretty sure we will be bringing some nice stuff down with us, so don't be afraid to say hello to the tired, smelly guys from PA. Any consensus as to when people will start lining up? Want to make sure the looooong drive is worth it!

I know everyone on here is a nut but if you are going with some buddy's and they are not crazy like you and me I would pay $30 for a bottle. I will be in the Citrus Park area the next weekend and im actually taking a tour on the 16th. Just thrown a line

 

The Hunahpu's shirt they posted on Facebook earlier today looks fantastic. Finally, a beer shirt I'll wear out of the house!

 

I am going to be a week too early (coming down from Boston 3/3) does anyone want to set up an IP trade from the Tampa area (prob meet at CCB on 3/3 afternoon)? Would be interested in a bottle of Huna from the relase and/or some swag.

 

Not necessarily. Hunahpu's cases were still available in the tasting room the following morning, at last years release. Granted, that didn't last very long. Even though nothing's for sure, I suspect the same will occur this year due to the 3 bottle per person limit (down from 4 p/p in '11).

 

So far, it looks like the main bottle share is going to be at Peg's Friday night rather than Saturday at Hunahpu? Am I reading this right? I realize there will still be others that couldn't show up Friday that will be sharing Saturday but kind of seems like people are saving their Saturday drinking for what's on tap at Cigar City?...

 

I'm heading down Friday. Want to get to Peg's, but not sure if I will. I could bring a couple of bottles... Alewerks Bourbon Barrel Porter, SN/DFH Life & Limb, Terrapin Iron Tankard, and others. Or I might just enjoy what's on tap. Not sure.

 

I am planning on Peg's Friday. Will share brews while in line and during H-day. The tap list looks awesome, but like last year, I am hoping to camp out at a table and share bottles and appreciate the draft brew available.

 

I will do my damndest to make it to Peg's on Friday. Have they taken steps to prepare for the larger-than-normal crowd? Its a pretty small place so I can imagine it being chaotic as balls.

 

I may bring a bottle of last years Dark Lord. Just not sure. I am thinking of getting to CCB at 6 am on Sat the 10th. Does anyone think that would be too late? Nothing like Bells Java Stout in place of coffee that early in the morning. :-)

 

0600 too late? No way. You can mix your java stout with the Cuban coffee they are providing.

 

No drinking in line at CCB. Joey fought hard to get that wet license and we shouldn't give his father's political opponents anymore ammo to throw at him.
