BCBS 4 pk is still over $4$ if Hunapus is 20 bucks. But given the distribution probably a 4 pk and something else nice, a few more good bottles of local stuff, for a Hunapus and extras as well. Sometimes factoring in some degree of difficulty is appropriate which in this case is tilted with using some of the better local stuff in lieu of easier availability.

It's a 4-pack, but I'd also send a nice extra along with the 4-pack to make up the huge rarity gap.

Yeah, I mean Hunahpu's is brewery-only, and this year's BCBS seems to be ~KBS-level-of-difficulty to find. Both are great beers, and although I prefer Huna, from the taste-side it's fair. But to the extent that people care about bottle counts, rarity, difficulty to obtain, then I would think Huna gets more.

As an aside, I feel like we should have disclosures in these threads as if we are financial analysts haha.
Adam owns neither HNA nor BCBS, although he may live in South Florida in the future.

Wait, is there a verse that converts my Hunahpu's and Marshall Zhu to vintage BCBS?

Shilt is right..Just a guess but a 1 1/2 year old Huna may turn into a Marshal Zhukov..To me a fresh Huna is the mothers nectar, one that has been aged is like that old high school girlfriend..

No way Id trade away a Huna for a 4 pack of BCBS. For what it takes to get Huna, (travel to Tampa, wait in line literally ALL day, or what seems like all day). I may trade one for two 4 packs of BCBS, (then I'd add a couple local shelfs to make it closer to $4$. ). Some may call the ratio of 1 Huna to 8 BCBS crazy, but I don't think it's a stretch and Id almost guaruntee someone would make that trade. Then just throw in some locals to make the $4$ and quantity somewhat closer.

This is similar to the CBS for KBS thread someone posted a while ago. I think he ended up possting an ISo:FT and asking 8, maybe 10, KBS's for his CBS. The trade was done in no time at all. I thought it was a fair trade. The bottom line is tons of people have KBS, and some of those people have tons of it, very few have CBS. Likewise, tons of people have BCBS, very few have Huna.

Caveat: I love Huna, and I think BCBS is overrated, so maybe Im biased.

I think you're too easily discounting how hard it is to get BCBS nowadays, particularly in any kind of quantity. Most stores limit between 1 4-pack and 1 bottle. I don't think many people would even have 8 bottles of BCBS for trade these days.

It's also not really any easier to get than attending Huna day - at least you know exactly when and where to go to get your Hunas, whereas BCBS is often a wild goose chase with a lot of dead ends.

That said, I appreciate Huna's general rarity, and I certainly wouldn't expect everyone to give up a Huna for a 4-pack. But there are likely those that will.

BCBS is pretty easy to get this year, and it's still rolling out in many places.

While I personally wouldn't give up more than a 4 pack, my guess is you could get 6 or so.

4 for a Huna is too little in my opinion. I would most certainly consider 4 for Leon, Imperial Sweet Stout or BA Church. Otherwise I would have to ask for maybe 6, and the difference be made up on my end with quality locals.

    But that's me.

In about 5 minutes on the phone (from Atlanta) in the last week, I was able to have my mom grab 3 four packs at a few Binny's in Chicago and my brother-in-law grabbed 3 four-packs in Maryland. All of this was sitting on shelves and required no lists or holds. I can't imagine what people in Chicago were able to acquire if they were trying.

Either you are greatly understating your effort, or you were extremely lucky.
